Sandy Devastates NJ, NY and CT

Sandy has devastated New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. Many are without power, water has filled basements, trees are down, power lines are hanging and yet, I have witnessed the power of the human spirit as they recognize "it's only a house - we are all safe," and "we lost four of our biggest trees, but many are worse off." Residents have joined together to help each other, generators are humming and we are all trying to put the pieces of our lives back together.

This includes removing debris, cutting trees that have fallen to clear roads, keeping gas in generators, utilizing flashlights and minimizing the use of water and other utilities while we wait for services to be restored.

You may find yourself in the situation where your basement has filled with water and many services will be needed to bring your home back to the functionality it had before Sandy. These include finding a business who does remediation work - drying out your basement, spraying for mold, fungus so they do not grow after you have replaced drywall and carpeting and often, removal of walls and drying out the 2x4's (and treating them for mold and fungus) before any building can occur to restore your home. We know several reputable companies with excellent reputations if you need help in this area. Please e-mail us attinmanfab@yahoo.comand we will put you in touch with someone you can trust.

If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation where your heater, humidifier, electronic air filters, or air conditioners need to be replaced, please give us a call at (908) 797-8815. We understand your needs better than most companies who install heating and cooling. With a degree in design of HVAC systems, including custom duct work to maximize efficiency, we can often replace your old system with a newer, more efficient system. We are one of only a few HVAC installers and service companies who have the ability to create custom duct work to cut your utility costs, along with zoning (which allows you to heat or cool only the rooms you are using the most) to increase the efficiency of your heating and cooling.
